Abstract
In this article we’ll analyze some of the ‘methaphorogical’ processes, illustrated by the German philosopher Hans Blumenberg in his work “Paradigmen zu einer Metaphorologie” (1960). Particularly, in the first chapter we’ll step into the concept of “Truth” and its power in the metaphoric sense of “light”, “revelation” and “human labour”; the second will concern two of the most important paradigmatical shifts at the threshold of modernity: from an organicistic view to a mechanicistic one, and from the Tolemaic astronomic organization to the Copernican model. In the end of the essay, there’ll be a general presentation of Blumenberg’s hermeneutic method of philosophical research. Continua a leggere
